Is there Such a Thing as "Natural" Sparkling Water?

Is there such a thing as "natural" sparkling water? Absolutely! In fact, the manufactured sparkling water that we find in most sparkling waters today was discovered by Joseph Priestley in 1767, and part of why it was such a fascination is because he discovered how to manufacture something from select natural springs throughout Europe that had enamored people for millennia, water from the ground with this curious effervescence, something so intriguing that it inspired legends of miraculous healings, and often resulted in creating destination spas for rich and poor alike.
